dudes, the part i went to sucked. badly.
do any of you want to get together and watch the DUNE sci-fi miniseries soon? i'm serious, spring break is comin up, and it will be such good times, that it will boggle your mind. me and one of the roommates are renting it, and i watched bunch today on tv, and it was bad ass.

The Answer is playing with come back kid and hardesty, anyone who reads this should come. even though its kinda odd using one band livejournal to promote for my other band. hmmm, maybe i should make a journal for the answer and be copier copierers. nah, thats sounds like bad idea. anyways the show is at posichris's house and it should be a hoot so come and check it out.

i've realized that i have more relationship talks with members of my band than anyone else, strange.
ok, so now my house has THREE dogs. THREE. we have somehow aquired another dog through a new roommate. although this guy isn't totally sketched out like the last random roommate, and i don't think he's gonna sign onto my computer and solicit sex from 15 year old girls. but he did bring BUCK, a black lab who looks and acts older than time. this dog is rad. however, that's still three dogs. i get more white trash everyday.
downside, there is now a cat in the room at the end of the hall. i fucking hate cats, not to mention being deathly allergic to them. fuuuuck.
caleb and zach, post more on this thing, because i am always bored and need something to read.
also, for those who care, i found a copy of "dear you" on cd for $6 the other day. amazing.
someone entertain me, please, otherwise i will just post in this thing till greg changes the password.

word up.
vancouver was sweet. played with bombs away, world on fire and blue monday. i'm convinced there's another band called bombs away, there has to be, but i digress. either way, totally fun show. we played solid, introduced "the cowboy" song to the world, no one broke anything, and i think i saw zach jump a few times.
during blue monday's set, somehow the rosary entorage got into some "altercations" with some locals, nothing serious at all, just some seriously funny yelling matches. the highlight, some kid screaming "who moshes with closed fists?? that's not how you mosh! who throws punches in the pit??" dude was in tears man. the low: lucas getting kneed in the balls. bum out.
so yeah, the rosary rolling party machine then made it's way to the naam, which was seriously amazing. my burger was good, although i was a little bummed on the fries, no big deal. i also ate at desserts earlier in the day, which was good, but still not the best falafel ever, as mac had claimed.
anyways, blue monday rules. naam rules. my canadian friends rule, even if we almost got arrested at the border.
oh yeah, you were right zach, i misread what you wrote. i'll humbly take the "step behind" title for now.

so saturday was a blast. what a great weekend. as you probably saw below, our show on friday was alot of fun. but seriously, that was nothing compared to saturday! we played our set, and minus a few between song stalls we did alright. played our cro-mags cover one last time for awhile. everyone had fun. first blood came up after us and destroyed the place. i took a kick to the face, amy got kicked in the gut. chris took one in the ribs either during first blood or piece by piece, who were up next. they also brought it with some serious rock and roll breakdowns and speedy fast parts. champion was up last, and dispite a seriously mis-shapen pit and half the crowd being injured everyone went off and ended the night the right way. it was one of those shows that reminds you why we dedicate so much time to this stuff. what a blast. i'm just stoked to play next time........

oh man - how much fun was last night? we played ground zero in bellevue with mav comai and perfect enemy. deadsure was supposed to come down from canada but i heard they got stuck at the border. so it was just us three, but that was alright. mav comai opened, only their second show but i can't wait for more. sooooo heavy. and fun to watch too. i really miss grieving, but mav comai will definately help fill the gap. next up was perfect enemy, we played with them before in redmond so it was extra fun to play with em again. its always great to see bands that you know have a lot of fun playing live. last up was us. i'm still awkward on stages but this was seriously a blast. i cant tell you how awesome it was to see that many familiar faces when we play. hahah, we skipped our new song because i was soooo clueless on lyrics and did our cro-mags cover instead. little did i know how much it would go off. hahah halfway through i absent mindedly leaned on the monitor sending it tumbling onto the floor. by the time the breakdown hit though, it got knocked right back over again anyway. thats the first time we got a REAL response for dont tread on me. i think maybe we'll play it again tonight and retire it for awhile.
oh, so yeah. for those of you that DONT know:
